Treat your skin and your appetite with foods that are known to contain ingredients that help bring out your beauty best—from the inside out! “Edible beauty” is not new in the industry. The well-known adage, “You are what you eat,” is time-tested and is taking on new meaning through products and services that take advantage of all natural, non-irritating, yet effective food ingredients. Whether in over-the-counter
or home-made products as well as in post-operative recovery, some foods are
helpful in promoting healthy hair and skin and in assisting the body to heal
after plastic surgery or minor cosmetic procedures. Known for their high concentrations ofvarious vitamins and antioxidants (which reduce inflammation that is believed to lead to premature aging, grey hair, etc.), these foods have beneficial
effects within the body as well as externally in the hair and on the facial
